West Bromwich Albion 1931 F.A Cup Winners. The 1931 FA Cup Final was contested by West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham at Wembley. West Brom won 2–1, with both of their goals scored by W. G. Richardson. Joe Bradford had equalised matters, before Richardson put the Baggies ahead again sixty seconds later. The match was reported in the Birmingham Sports Argus which produced that evenings edition in a special run on blue paper in place of the normal pink.
